Students learn about museum curating at Oklahoma History Center camp

From Staff ReportsStudents ages 8-12 participated in the creation of their own museum exhibits during a junior curator camp at the Oklahoma History Center. They learned how to handle precious and rare artifacts, develop labels and signage, do the research on their projects and present their exhibits to the public. The program, presented by the education department of the History Center, is one of many that introduce the public to Oklahoma history, officials said.
