Comment on Fire damages tractor-trailer in North Liberty

NORTH LIBERTY — Mike Van Winkle believes his buddy’s tractor-trailer may be cursed.He said the semi was involved in a rollover crash in Kansas and had recently returned from the body shop. On Wednesday, around noon, the cab of the truck became engulfed in flames causing heavy damage to the vehicle.The North Liberty Fire Department and Police Deparment were called to the scene of the fire outside the maintenance building at Holiday Mobile Home Court, 1 Holiday Lodge Road, around noon.
