Comment on Cedar Rapids Community School District cancels classses due to flooding

CEDAR RAPIDS - All Cedar Rapids Community School District schools and offices will be closed through Wednesday due to flooding.The district announced the clsoure on Sunday. The district said it will evaluate flooding conditions in the community and communicate with families again by Wednesday afternoon.Essential custodial and maintenance and grounds employees are expected to report to their work sites on their regular schedules.The Cedar River is projected to crest at 23 feet Tuesday morning.
