The Strain Will End With Season 4

The Strain has been renewed for a fourth season, which will serve as the series' last, FX Productions has announced. Showrunner Carlton Cuse, as well as Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan will be back to steer the final chapter, which will premiere sometime next summer. "We sincerely thank Carlton Cuse, Guillermo del Toro, Chuck Hogan, and their creative team as well as the fantastic cast for three exciting seasons of The Strain," FX original programming president Nick Grad said in a statement accompanying the announcement.
