A hotel employee was shot about 1 a.m after he interrupted three men breaking into vehicles at a Quality Suites near Bush Intercontinental Airport, police said Thursday. The worker noticed the thieves in the front parking lot of the hotel on Vantage Parkway near Beltway 8. Houston police said when he went outside to confront them, at least one of the suspects shot at him, striking his abdomen and a leg.
