Five people have been charged in what is believed to be a 2014 gang-related slaying, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday. The investigation began about 5:30 a.m. Feb. 8, 2014, when a deputy investigating a vehicle stopped on eastbound Bobby Jones Expressway near Mike Padgett Highway found a dead man behind the wheel.
