Leverkusen boss Schmidt suspended after 'nutcase' remark vs. Hoffenheim

Roger Schmidt has been sent to the stands three times since taking charge at Bayer Leverkusen in 2014. Bayer Leverkusen coach Roger Schmidt has been fined €15,000 and banned for two matches after calling Hoffenheim boss Julian Nagelsmann a "nutcase" during his side's 3-0 home defeat on Saturday. Schmidt, 49, was sent to the stands by referee Bastian Dankert for insulting Nagelsmann when, with the score at 2-0, a Hoffenheim player was fouled in front of the technical area. "Up yours!
