Wearables help drive Garmin revenue growth, but auto slumps

Garmin saw revenue growth in its third-quarter earnings report, released Wednesday. The Olathe-based company brought in $722 million in total revenue in the previous quarter, up 6 percent year over year. Garmin Ltd.'s (Nasdaq: GRMN) fitness, outdoor, marine and aviation segments saw double-digit growth, up 24 percent from the third quarter in 2015.
