The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Colorado has appointed a dedicated district election officer to handle complaints of election fraud and voting rights abuses. Acting U.S. Attorney Bob Troyer announced on Wednesday that assistant U.S. Attorney Jason St. Julien will lead the efforts in connection with the Justice Department’s nationwide Election Day Program for the upcoming November 8, 2016, general elections. “Every citizen must be able to vote without interference or discrimination and to have that vote counted – and not be stolen by fraud,” Troyer said.
