Calspan’s newest employees are likely to be a bunch of dummies. As Calspan Corp. begins work on a new automotive crash-test facility at the Cheektowaga headquarters, the company expects to fill it with high-tech equipment including two dummies that record the impact of vehicular crashes on the human body. The $7 million cost includes construction of a 50,000-square-foot facility on Calspan’s Genesee Street campus.
