Commuters are experiencing delays on Riverwatch Parkway this evening. According to the Richmond County Sheriff's Office, delays are being caused by construction work and the left thru-lane in westbound Riverwatch is closed. The site is marked and the sheer volume of traffic is causing the delay, according to Lt. Allan Rollins. "Patience is the order of the day," Rollins said.
