For two Amarillo teenage girls, a $75 shopping spree would be a far-fetched item to write on their Christmas wish lists. The pair live with their single mother, who battles an ongoing kidney disease. Although their mother works two jobs, the family struggles to afford much more than the essentials. At Christmas, one gift is considered an abundance.
