All lanes of U.S. 290 have been closed in both directions just outside the Grand Parkway after a heavy truck got in a crash about 3:30 p.m. Thursday, according to Houston TranStar. The crash happened when an 18-wheeler carrying beer collided with an SUV and another vehicle near Hegar Road, KPRC reports.
