N.Y.C. accounting firm PwC apologizes for Oscar flub

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) has been in charge of the Oscar ballot process for 89 years, keeping sole custody of the votes and tabulations of each ballot. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has put the New York-based accounting firm in charge of maintaining that the awards process runs smoothly. However, no record goes untarnished.
