Northeast blizzard causes nearly 90 flight cancellations at SFO A severe blizzard in the Northeast United States caused the cancellation of about 90 flights in and out of San Francisco International Airport, officials said Tuesday. Fifty-one arriving flights and 38 departures out of SFO were canceled Monday night by their respective airlines ahead of the storm, said Dennis Zamaria, a duty manager at the airport.
