The suspect, a 36-year-old woman whose name was not released, approached the 51-year-old victim screaming and then stabbed him multiple times about 11:35 a.m. Monday on Market Street and Seventh Street, police said. Postal Investigation Service officers were summoned to the same intersection about an hour later to retrieve a knife someone dropped in a mailbox after a stabbing.
