Zombieland director Ruben Fleischer will helm the film adaptation of the action-comedy comic book Archer & Armstrong. According to The Hollywood Reporter, independent comic publisher Valiant Entertainment has been interested in moving into film production, and wants Archer & Armstrong to be one of the company's first movie projects. Fleischer will direct from a script by Pirates of the Caribbean franchise scribe Terry Rossio, who recently became the creative lead on the MonsterVerse for Legendary, which includes King Kong and Godzilla.
