WORCESTER — Police are investigating a late-night shooting in Worcester.Officers responding to a Cumberland Farms store at about 10 p.m. Tuesday found the 24-year-old male victim on the ground at that location with a gunshot wound to the chest. Worcester police received a call from state police who had come across the victim while patrolling the area.The victim was taken to the hospital where he underwent surgery.
