Funding for Ghost House renovation in New Haven could fall prey to budget cuts

NEW HAVEN >> A new life for the Ghost House, and others like it, are under threat.Habitat for Humanity hopes to renovate the 1830 Greek revival house at 387 Lenox St. that has been left to deteriorate, but those plans could be in jeopardy.U.S. Sen. Richard Bumenthal, D-Conn., and Bill Casey, executive director of Habitat for Humanity, stood in front of the two-story, single-family home Monday to make the case for continued federal funding to help restore it.
