A 36-year-old man crashed his vehicle on Interstate 70 in Denver last week and then allegedly kidnapped a good Samaritan who came to his aid, saying “Don’t make me have to shoot you,” before demanding to be driven to a motel, court records show. Colorado Department of Corrections records show Singlevich is assigned to a community corrections facility — similar to a halfway house — stemming from several convictions of out El Paso County.
