Comment on Savannah James makes prom night possible for 38 teen girls in Akron

Andrayah Autrey had pretty much decided she was not going to the prom.For the senior at Akron’s Buchtel High School, the stress and expense of finding just the right dress was just too much.This all changed when she found out she had been selected to be a part of Savannah James’ sixth annual Prom Promise event where they could pick out a dress for free.“I’m so ready to go to prom now,” said Andrayah, who plans to study at Ohio State’s Mansfield campus after graduation.
