Based on the sheer tonnage of books and magazines on how to travel with kids (along with the close runner-up, how to travel with dogs), it’s a mystery that the conventional wisdom about traveling with cats is simple: For every case study — couple takes kitty to visit every national park; Norwegian feline prefers snowy walks; one-eyed rescue cat surfs with his owner in Oahu — there are sections full of advice on the practical side of cat travel.
