State police are asking the public to help them find a male assault victim whose bike was stolen while riding along the Esplanade.The incident occurred Tuesday about 8:30 p.m. and was called in to police by witnesses as an assault and robbery, police said in a statement.The unarmed assault occurred on the bike path west of the Charles River Bistro, cops said.However, the victim left the scene before police arrived.Police said the victim was attacked and his bike was stolen by four suspects.
