MIDDLETOWN, (AP) >> Police say a man whose dog died after he left it in his car on a hot summer day has been charged with animal cruelty.Police in Middletown, Connecticut, say it's the second time a dog belonging to the man died after being left in a car.Seventy-nine-year-old David Beveridge told police he meant to bring the Labradoodle named Jennie to a pet care center around noon Tuesday before going to work.
