A taxi driver was arrested on suspicion of felony hit and run after striking and killing a pedestrian crossing a street near Redwood City early Monday, according the California Highway Patrol. The incident unfolded about 2:25 a.m. as the pedestrian was crossing Middlefield Road just south of Flynn Avenue in an unincorporated area of San Mateo County.
