Comment on Jury finds Cleveland man guilty of murder in shooting death in robbery-gone-wrong in Green; Trent Turner faces life in prison

Three people identified Trent Turner as the shooter in a drug-robbery-gone bad that left a Green man dead in November 2015.Turner’s defense attorneys, though, claimed the trio was motivated by self-interest or influenced by racial bias and social media images.The witnesses’ word, though, was enough to convince a Summit County jury of Turner’s guilt.After deliberating for five hours Tuesday, the jury found Turner guilty of murder and numerous other charges in the shooting death of Corey Seibel at his Green home.
