Denver police received a call about the shooting around 6:26 p.m. Saturday, according to the department, and announced the incident on X around 6:49 p.m. The shooting occurred near the intersection of West 5th Avenue and North Sheridan Boulevard, according to police.

Colorado Springs police shot a man while chasing him on foot after allegedly observing a disturbance at a nearby business, according to the department.
