KC Turner was feeling distraught over the news of the wildfires ravaging Northern California, so he called up a few friends and quickly organized one of his signature house concerts with plans to donate 100 percent of the proceeds to the North Bay Fire Relief fund. “I wanted to think about what I could do to help people out,” says the San Francisco concert promoter.
