A 47-year-old Poland man was injured early Thursday when his car left North Raymond Road and struck a tree, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office. Tom Hardy, who sustained serious, but non life-threatening injuries, was following his girlfriend Hilda Brackett, 40, also of Poland, home when his Ford Focus left the road. Brackett returned to the accident scene and called 911.
