Bernard Sigh -- whose 1993 rape conviction was a flashpoint during his brother-in-law Gov. Deval Patrick's first gubernatorial campaign -- is being held on charges of assault with intent to rape, authorities confirmed today.Sigh, 65, was arraigned in Quincy District Court yesterday on a count of assault with intent to rape, and a second count of assault and battery on a household member.
