NEW YORK (AP) — The New York Police Department and Bronx prosecutor are scrutinizing a raid that led to an officer fatally shooting a man who was accused of wielding a machete. The New York Times reports that 69-year-old Mario Sanabria (suh-NAH'-bree-uh) was killed in the Dec. 5 apartment raid after police got a report that his nephew had a gun and narcotics. Miguel Conde (KAHN'-day), who said he hasn't lived there for seven months, later received a summons for having a marijuana cigarette and a pocket knife. Conde said detectives were looking for someone with a different first name and birthday than his. Conde's 92-year-old father lived there and owned a souvenir machete.
