CRYSTAL LAKE – Part of Route 31 was reduced to one lane Tuesday morning in Crystal Lake while utility crews worked to replace a pole damaged in a crash. About 7 a.m. Tuesday, a juvenile driving north on Route 31 lost control of a vehicle and slid because of icy road conditions, Crystal Lake Patrol Cmdr.
