Apple Will Make iPhone Throttling Optional. Lawsuit Plaintiffs Say “Too Late”

Apple now faces 45 lawsuits surrounding “Batterygate,” a day after CEO Tim Cook vowed to let iPhone users disable battery throttling. Apple CEO Tim Cook said in an interview with ABC News last night that Apple will soon release a software update allowing iPhone users to turn off the now-notorious “throttling” feature.
