Atlanta will be one of three cities in which AT&T will introduce the next generation of wireless service, referred to as 5G. The 5G service will be available in "parts of" Atlanta, Dallas and Waco, Texas by year-end, AT&T said early Wednesday morning. 5G networks are expected to be more reliable and offer Internet speeds 10-to-100 times faster than current 4G broadband technology. The 5G broadband standard will drive innovation in new data-intensive business applications.
