Comment on Baker activates National Guard ahead of powerful nor’easter

Gov. Charlie Baker has activated hundreds of members of the National Guard ahead of tomorrow’s nor’easter, which he said is expected to whack the coast with even more water than the early January snowstorm that flooded parts of downtown Boston and coastal communities.“If you are in one of these typically affected areas (by flooding), do not ride out the storm in your home if you’re told to evacuate,” Baker said at an early afternoon press conference.
