Cranley, Black sign new severance deal; one vote still needed

Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley and City Manager Harry Black have signed an 18-month severance agreement, according to Councilman Jeff Pastor, who helped them craft the deal, but only four of the nine council members have agreed to sign off, leaving it one vote short. According to Pastor, the deal calls for Black to receive about $393,000 in salary plus 18 months of health benefits.
