YARMOUTH — The police dog shot when his handler was killed while serving an arrest warrant in Massachusetts has been released from a veterinary hospital.Yarmouth police say Nero was released Wednesday, the same day as Yarmouth K-9 Officer Sean Gannon's funeral.Police say the Belgian malinois was taken in Gannon's cruiser to the home of retired Yarmouth K-9 Officer Peter McClelland.
