IOWA CITY — Johnson County’s Solarize program has reached its first milestone with 50 kilowatts of local solar power investment.Officials with the program say the cost of solar installations will drop at each milestone, with future bench marks set at 150 kW, 250 kW and 350 kW.“We’re already about halfway toward that next bench mark,” said Becky Soglin, Johnson County sustainability coordinator.
