Koch Media has bought the the IP and rights to the Timesplitters series, as well as fellow Free Radical development Second Sight. “We are hugely excited to have acquired Timesplitters” said Koch CEO Klemens Kundratitz. “The original games gave fans a massive content offer and provided a pure and genuinely fun arcade shooter experience. "We have many fans of the Timesplitters series among our own staff who are passionate about creating a product that will thrill today's gaming audience.” That final part of the statement implies that work has begun or will begin on a Timesplitters project. Koch owns and operates Dambuster Studios, the studio that was once Timesplitters and Second Sight creator Free Radical Design.
