UI's enrollment influx has tuition, fee income up 4.6% over last year

A proposed operating budget for fiscal 2019, which runs through next June, shows tuition income across the UI system at just over $1.3 billion, compared with $1.24 billion last year, UI officials said Monday. URBANA — All those new students at the University of Illinois this fall are bringing in another $62.6 million in tuition and fee income, up 5 percent over last year.
