A Battle Ground man was injured Wednesday afternoon when his car was rear-ended on state Highway 503, about 4 miles north of Battle Ground. Richard A. Demaskey, 52, was transported to Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center with unspecified injuries, according to a Washington State Patrol crash memo. His condition was not available. Demaskey was driving a black Mercedes four-door sedan north on the highway about 2:10 p.m.
