As you ease into the earth-heated water, it’s hard not to feel like the mountains are giving you a close, cozy hug. That’s what I thought as I slid into the hottest pool in the thermal caves at Indian Hot Springs. The water was 112 degrees Fahrenheit and I didn’t last long before climbing back out into the steamy, underground air. After a few more dips, I retreated upstairs to the lush community pool to float and soak some more.
