JOHNSON CITY — When Jeromy Rodriguez steps onto the court Saturday as the East Tennessee State basketball team gets ready to play at Illinois, he’ll see a familiar face. Andres Feliz, a point guard for the Illini, is one of Rodriguez’s best friends. The two have played on national teams from the Dominican Republic for “five or six years” and spent a year on the same junior college team. “He’s like my best friend,” Rodriguez said Wednesday night before practice.
