Cops busted one of their own for allegedly selling marijuana in Brooklyn Police officer Gilberto Mercedes, 42, was arrested around 5:25 p.m. Thursday for hawking “a quantity of marijuana” at Knickerbocker and Putnam avenues in Bushwick, authorities said. He was charged with criminal sale of marijuana and criminal possession of marijuana, police said.
