Comment on Police search for hit-and-run suspect after man hit by car

Vancouver police are searching for a hit-and-run suspect after a man was struck by a car Monday in the North Image neighborhood. A middle-aged man entered a crosswalk just after 7:20 p.m. at Northeast 112th Avenue and Northeast 28th Street, Vancouver Police Sgt. Pat Johns said. A car making a right turn onto the eastbound side of the road hit him and knocked him down before leaving the scene. The man, whom police are not identifying at this point, was treated for a concussion and soft-tissue damage among other injuries, Johns said. “He should definitely feel it in the morning,” Johns said. The man reported that the suspect was driving a dark-colored Honda CRV.
