A 10-year-old boy is dead following a Sunday night crash near Huntley, police said. Illinois State Police responded to the crash about 6:45 p.m. Sunday at Route 47 and Interstate 90. Stacy Blume, 38, was driving a Chrysler van with two 10-year-old passengers, police said. As she was driving on the westbound ramp to Route 47, she ran off the roadway and flipped over into the retention pond, police said. The van was submerged on its roof.
