Marvel Comics just dropped another major announcement at C2E2, revealing that writer Jonathan Hickman is returning to the company in order to revamp the X-Men franchise. As revealed at Marvel's "Next Big Thing" panel today, Hickman is writing two new X-Men-themed miniseries - House of X and Powers of X. While Marvel isn't revealing much about the plot of either book, the company is teasing the two books will usher in "the next seminal moment in the history of the X-Men." Marvel's press release compares the two books to other landmark stories like Giant-Size X-Men #1, Chris Claremont and Jim Lee's X-Men #1 and the Age of Apocalypse crossover.
