Amos takes over as ETSU men's golf coach

JOHNSON CITY — Jake Amos was introduced as the new men’s golf coach at East Tennessee State on Monday, officially assuming a role for which he has been groomed over the past year. Amos replaces longtime coach Fred Warren, a member of the Golf Coaches Association Hall of Fame, and becomes the third coach in the program’s 61-year history. “I’ve been looking forward to this for a long time, since I’ve gotten into coaching,” Amos said during a news conference at the school’s Warren-Greene Golf Center.
