Chicago man denied bond in ecstasy charges Friday

Bond was denied Friday for a Chicago man charged with possessing more than $11,000 worth of ecstasy. Lloyd T. Reizner, 23, of the 400 block of West Cortland Street, is charged along with Matthew P. Kus, 31, of the 1300 block of Hood Avenue in Chicago, with Class X possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance, according to the criminal complaint filed in McHenry County court. Kus additionally is charged with possession of a controlled substance for allegedly possessing 0.6 grams of cocaine, according to the criminal complaint. In court Friday, Reizner, present with his attorney, assistant public defender Eric Vogel, requested a bond reduction from $125,000 to $80,000. Reizner said he works as a freelance sound engineer in Chicago and could possibly ask his grandmother for $8,000 from a college fund.
