The Texas Rangers got a little help from an unexpected place on Monday night in Seattle. With 2 outs in the bottom of the first inning, Hunter Pence came to the plate with a chance to give the Rangers an early lead with Elvis Andrus on second base. Pence, however, fouled off an 0-1 cutter down the third base line and Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager was in pursuit.Enter Rangers fan Jake Coleman.A recent graduate from Frisco Reedy High School, Coleman's outstretched arm -- which was still in the stands, meaning he had the right to attempt the catch -- beat Seager to the baseball, saving Pence's at-bat.Three pitches later, Pence shot a ground ball back up the middle for a base hit, scoring Andrus, to give the Rangers an early 1-0 lead.Coleman and his father are attempting to visit every MLB stadium together, and luckily for the Rangers, they flew in on Sunday morning.
